CLAUDIA RAISED MONEY FOR "MEALS ON WHEELS" PLAYING CHESS FOR $5 DOLLARS PER GAME THIS WEEKEND IN WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS

In order to harvest one must seed FIRST. That motto was more than evident this weekend as Claudia participated in a fundraiser in Wichita Falls, Texas for “MEALS ON WHEELS”. When Claudia heard of this activity, she was in the area for the wedding of her uncle, she quickly stated she wanted to play chess in order to raise funds for the program. After speaking with the organizers, they set up a tent for her as our family made the advertising poster to lure in players.

What caused people to want to play Claudia?

The curiosity of a young child playing chess and especially a GIRL with a FIDE title caused numerous bikers and adults to play her. Several children were heard saying, “Dad, you let a girl beat you.”

The fundraiser at OVERCOMING WORD OF PRAISE INTERNATIONAL raised approximately $3,000 dollars for “MEALS ON WHEELS”. We are simply proud that our daughter participated.

Now we challenge every chess player in the world to do the same – use the chessboard to seed in other people’s lives.

Then get ready for the harvest.
