In order to become more cost-effective while at the same time assisting Claudia in reaching her chess goals, two to three more rated events have been added to her March calendar that were not previously contemplated.
This Friday she will be commuting again to the Dallas Chess Club in order to participate in the Friday 4-Swiss weekly tourney. This time she will be spending the nght in order to participate in the two day FIDE event at the same club. The cost of the added hotel night would be the roundtrip excursion from home to club and back.
This is maximizing finances in relations to chess goals.
For the next two weeks the same pattern will be followed minus one hotel night, just one will be done. The idea is for Claudia to play in a total of 6 rated events before March ends. We anticipate that she will have a ¨noticeable¨ jump in the rating list.
We thank God for the blessing of being parents to two great children who are developing their talents to the fullest.
