To the parents and players who will be attending the North American Youth Championship 2009, in Mazatlan, Mexico (October 1-5), Chuck Lovingood as well as Beatriz Marinello informed me that I will be the Head of Delegation for this event.
I will give my best possible effort so that the American delegation enjoy this event in Mexico.
The USCF through the office of Chuck Lovingood and Beatriz Marinello will continue heading the registration efforts until September 16, 2009 at which time after that date I will begin steering the team in cooperation with the USCF.
Eventually, I will call each one of you prior to your departure in order to assist you with any endeavors.
Today, Beatriz Marinello informed Mr. Jorge Vega of FIDE America of my appointment. I wish to think the USCF for the honor to serve U.S. Chess.
Both Claudia Munoz, my daughter, and I will assist you with any language issues as they appear.

Hi Abed,
Thank you so much for your help. I plan to bring my son to the event. At this point, should we call the hotel to make reservations? Does it matter if my son is the official player? Can you give us your email address so that we can contact you by emails?
Again, We really appreciate your big help!
David
David:
You should call the hotel now and make your reservations. Since at this time we do not know who the official players are, you should still call and make the reservations, after all, whatever modifications we need to make - of your son were the official player or not, we can make at the site with the organizers.
My email is abed_marketing@yahoo.com, my phone number is 830-734-4956, feel free to call me after 7:00 p.m. central standard time, or anytime during the weekend.
I am here to assist you.
Abed
