THE NORTH AMERICAN YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP 2009 WILL BE PLAYED AT HOTEL OLAS INN IN MAZATLAN, MEXICO

At 3:50 p.m. (CST) I called Hotel Olas Atlas Inn, which is the location where the delegation of the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas will be arriving for the North American Youth Championship 2009.

I was told that the special chess price was $2,500 pesos per person for the entire four nights of the event, which means $200 USD. Of course, if your son or daughter is the official representative of the United States, only the parent would have to pay that amount and not the participant.

I was in Mexico this July with my family, as I took the ashes of my deceased mother to her last resting place. From the mountains of Durango we proceeded to Mazatlan as the entire trip was by land, I drove in our Dodge Ram. Mazatlan is a beautiful and safe city.
